Dr. Jill Rhodes, originally from eastern Kentucky, has been physically active throughout her life, excelling in varsity basketball, track, and cross country during high school and maintaining a passion for running. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. She completed two years of specialized post-graduate training in hematology/oncology at the University of Kentucky Healthcare. In 2010, Dr. Rhodes established the PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency Program at the University of Louisville Healthcare. She is also a founder of St. Matthews Community & Specialty Pharmacy, which focuses on expanding access to specialty medications, advancing pharmacists’ roles as healthcare providers, and caring for individuals with psychiatric, behavioral health, and substance use disorders.
A committed health advocate, Dr. Rhodes served on the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy from 2018 to 2021, appointed by the governor and elected by her peers. She held the positions of Vice President and President. She continues her pharmacy career as a consultant on specialized pharmacy projects.
Following chronic knee pain from a skiing injury and limited shoulder mobility, Dr. Rhodes embraced Classical Pilates as a rehabilitative practice and lifelong fitness regimen. This experience inspired her to deepen her expertise, leading to her completion of the Real Pilates Teacher Training (RPTT) certification in 2024. She now teaches Pilates at Pilates Fit Studio at the Pewee Valley location.
Known for her unwavering energy and motivation, Dr. Rhodes consistently encourages clients to progress and achieve their personal fitness goals with enthusiasm and dedication.
Outside of her professional and Pilates pursuits, Dr. Rhodes enjoys raising her three children with her husband, traveling, hiking, gardening, and volunteering as a Troop Leader with the Girl Scouts.
