Minh-Tuan Nguyen is a dedicated movement educator with over 12 years of experience as a professional dancer, choreographer, and ballet instructor. His passion for movement deepened when he discovered the GYROTONIC® Method in 2009 through master trainer Alicia Head. This transformative practice enhanced his ballet technique and overall vitality, inspiring him to become a certified GYROKinesis® trainer in 2022 after studying with renowned master trainers across the United States. Minh-Tuan is a Level 1 Certified GYROTONIC® teacher and Level 2 GYROKinesis® instructor, eager to share the joy of movement with his clients.
Minh-Tuan’s extensive dance career includes performances with Milwaukee Ballet II, Missouri Contemporary Ballet, Lexington Ballet, and, most recently, Louisville Ballet. He has collaborated with dancers, choreographers, and teachers worldwide, with notable roles including Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the Walking Pas in Emeralds, the Nutcracker Prince in The Brown-Forman Nutcracker, and Grass is Green by Ching Ching Wong. His teaching and choreography experience spans Missouri Contemporary Ballet, Lauridsen Ballet Centre, Academy of Fine Arts, Studio B, Burklyn Ballet, and Louisville Ballet. Minh-Tuan studied dance at California State University, Long Beach.
Focusing on cultivating strength and mobility through correct alignment and coordination, Minh-Tuan believes everyone can achieve their movement goals with the proper guidance.
Outside of teaching, Minh-Tuan enjoys tennis, rock climbing, board games, and spending quality time with his dog, Bolin.
